Executive Portal dashboard

Who Is This For?

City leadership, department heads, the mayor’s office, and senior officials who need a high-level operational view across all city services. The Executive Portal is a scrollable KPI command center designed for decision makers who need to see the big picture at a glance.

Dashboard Sections

The Executive Portal is a single scrollable page with five key sections:

Morning Briefing Generator

Start your day with an AI-generated briefing that summarizes the state of city operations:
  • Quick briefing — A concise overview with top-line metrics and urgent items
  • Detailed briefing — A comprehensive report covering all departments, trends, and recommended actions
The AI pulls from all city datasets to generate briefings that are ready for morning meetings.

KPI Grid

A grid of key performance indicators with sparkline charts showing trends at a glance:
  • 311 request volumes and resolution rates
  • Code violation counts and clearance rates
  • Permit activity and processing times
  • Infrastructure project status
  • Public safety metrics
Each KPI card shows the current value, trend direction, and a sparkline for quick visual assessment.

Alert Priority Queue

A prioritized list of items that need executive attention:
  • High-volume 311 categories
  • Districts with unusual activity spikes
  • Staffing alerts and vacancy thresholds
  • Infrastructure milestones and deadlines
Alerts are ranked by urgency so you can focus on what matters most.

Cross-Portal Pulse Cards

Summary cards pulling key metrics from each of the other portals:
  • Resident pulse — 311 trends, community service usage
  • Business pulse — Permit and license activity
  • City Staff pulse — Infrastructure and enforcement status
  • Researcher pulse — Data quality and coverage metrics

District Comparison Matrix

A side-by-side comparison of all 9 council districts across multiple service metrics. Quickly identify which districts are over- or under-served relative to others.
